The Experience Session
Boudoir Experience Portrait Sessions are customized just for you.
We start with a pre-consultation so that we can get to know one another, discuss your vision and ideas, and decide if we are a good fit for creating these very special Boudoir Experience portraits.
Once your Experience Session is booked, we will continue to chat, especially about your clothing ideas. I have a few items in my client closet that you may use, but you’ll want to incorporate items that are “you” as well. Sometimes this might be things that belong to your special someone, or maybe items that reflect your hobbies. It’s fun to get really creative with clothing choices.
Boudoir Experience sessions are never rushed. I realize that you may be stepping out of your comfort zone, so we work at your pace.
Each session is one on one, just you and me alone in the studio, where I give you time and space to work at your comfort level. I will give you direction on how to pose, and will help you with little things like adjusting straps, hair, body lines, etc. Because of the intimate nature of these sessions, I do not recommend that you bring a friend. Boudoir Experience sessions are for one person only.
An average session will last between 3.5-5 hours; this will include the actual “picture-taking” time, as well as the Image Ordering session. Most shoot times last about 2 hours; during your Pre-Consultation, you and I will determine if this is enough time, or if you wish to upgrade to a longer session. (This is also a decision that you may make on the day of your session.) Immediately following the “picture-taking” part of the session, you and I will take an additional hour or two to unwind and review your images together where I will help you make your decisions on which portraits you wish to purchase.
The collection of images that result from an Experience session look beautiful as wall portraits, in frames for table top display, and in custom designed albums.
